An introduction to your teachers!

Welcome to Kowhai. Juanita is in the classroom Monday to Wednesday and again on Fridays and Rochelle is in the classroom on Thursdays.  We are really looking forward to a fun–filled and educational year! 

We actively promote a positive, encouraging and inclusive atmosphere in an environment where every child is made to feel valued and given the confidence to take risks.   Efforts will always be encouraged.  We believe that each child is unique, and each child learns in different ways. One of our jobs as  teachers is to help your child discover his or her individuality and work alongside them to maximize it. 

It is our goal to create a community of learners who are committed to working hard and having fun along the way. We want students to leave our classroom feeling confident that they can apply what they’ve learned in school to real-life situations.
